Incident 33735

Due to action taken by a licensing board in West Virginia, the Tennessee licenses of Shannon Rowe, A.P.N., R.N., Elizabethton, have been placed on probation to run concurrent with an existing Tennessee Professional Assistance Program contract. A board order states Rowe’s abuse of Dilaudid and Ativan in April 2008 prompted the West Virginia Board of Nursing to suspend her license and order probation for three years beginning in May 2008. While on probation, Rowe was to maintain a current and active license in West Virginia. However, Rowe allowed her license to lapse in October 2008. Rowe was also fined $50 plus costs.
